Yes, you're right, Lekiu or Proton X-Active (Cross Active) the name originally given by Proton | Design (Styling Dept.) is based on the Exora chassis/ platform. Doesn't mean that Exora can only be made into something of a similar size, the platform can still be used for a large sedan or a light commercial vehicle.

You must understand, platform is the base of the chassis, like the foundation of a car, like how Waja was based on the Mitsubishi Charisma and Volvo S40 platform, the whole upper body is different but the floors, suspension system remains similar.

Here to make my point clearer...

Exactly my point, this is Proton future strategy which is to use available platform they have designed themselves, it took a lot of hard work and huge amount of money to develop a new platform from scratch, it's not as easy as it looks, and the Exora platform is one of them. So this is a future investment for Proton and they will get the dividend paid handsomely.

Give me money, I go to nearest Fiberglass custom shop and more money so I can shop autoparts at ENEOS One Utama or N1,Kakimoto or many others more at Sunway....now again...what again you want me to transform your Proton. Come on just give me 3% from what Proton spend hehehe.Beauty with performance " Tak Ingat ".....GUARANTEE.

Bukan cakap besar but that the fact...I also think many of you also capable.
Few respect to Tuah but that others..call it concept, call it whatever... waste of time. Its more meaningful if Proton can show us soft copy of 100 new car inside out.
